Dr Laura Sharpe

Laura qualified from Bristol University in 2016 and later completed her training in implant dentistry at the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry in Leeds. She has since been privileged to return to the BAIRD academy to help mentor the current delegates in placing their first implants.
Laura is passionate about implant dentistry and keeps up to date with the latest materials and techniques through regular CPD training. In 2026, she limited her practice solely to focus on dental implantology and undertook further examinations to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is also a member of both the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI)
Outside of dentistry, Laura is a keen swimmer and completed her first 10K open water event in September 2025.
